CARMELA D'UNIENVILLE

Hey, I am Carmela d'Unienville and I am the Costume, Makeup, Stylist, Production Designer and Co-Producer of Luella. I am thrilled to be working on this film - as a feminist I think themes and topics that are focused on in the film are so important and need to be addressed and communicated. The film in itself is beautiful and striking visually - such an aesthetic is rare and challenging to create. As a crew we have a big undertaking but are so excited - this film allows for the ultimate amount of exploration and creativity through Avant-Garde and experimental visuals which is wonderful considering this is the visual style I specialize in and enjoy creating. I am so excited to be working on such an aesthetic heavy film where the visual effects are able to be Incorporated in unique ways. What excites me the most is being able to illustrate for the film, as well as working alongside an amazing crew with an inspiring story line.
